What online auction site is preferred by sellers of antiques & collectibles, and why?
I've used eBay in the past for selling collectibles, but it seems that it's more than just the economy keeping buyers and sellers away. Did the fees get too greedy? Are people just not interested in collecting anymore? The good stuff doesn't seem to get listed much anymore. So....I was just wondering if there was another auction site to which the antique dealers have flocked.

A free site to get info on antiques and vintage items?
I have a pair of chairs from the 1940's and a 1950's vase that I want to know more about but I cant find anywhere where I can post pictures of the items and get people's opinions on what they are and who made them. i don't need to know their market value what I need to know is who made the stuff so I can then start the search to buy more.
